Love, love, love it! My husband and I have been married almost 4 years, and I love him more every day! We are very happy, with one child already. I am able to stay at home with my child, and I LOVE being a housewife. Marriage has brought a solidity in my life that I didn't have before. Does anyone else agree with me?
I ask this question because all I see is negative reports on being married, so I thought we could add a little encouragement to the board!

I totally agree with you. I have been married for 5 years, with 2 kids and another on the way. I am a housewife too and enjoy everyday that I get to spend with my kids. I love waking up to my hubby daily and kissing him goodbye. Enjoy being married, marriage is a very special thing, and if you are happy, then congrats!!!

Marriage is a wonderful thing, if you marry the right person. My first husband left me when I needed him the most. But my best friend helped me and now we have been married for almost 11 years. We love each other dearly and grow closer every day. We have had some rough times together, but we always work through them. I agree with you Cathy, and I wish you as much happiness with your husband that I have with mine.

I feel the same way. Been married 11 yrs. We had our first rough time this year and it was a doozy! But we unlike so many couples are working through it. There have been mistakes made unde very extinuating circumstances, but We are in itfor the long run!!!! I could not imagine not being married to the love of my life...and our problems this year have really made us apreciate what we do have, and we have become closer and stronger because of it!! I dont undrstand wy somany people give up at the drop of a hat!!

That's so great. I am glad to hear that there are still people out in the world that are happy in marriage. A:ot of the questions asked in these forums are somewhat negative, I would agree. However this is a great place for people who need advice and encouragment that they may not be getting. That's great your'e happy, I hope it stays that way.

I agree I love being married also, and your right theres not to many people out there who are. I have five children, and I am also a stay at home Mom, and it's a wonderful feeling to know you get to raise your babies not someone else. It's nice to know I'm not crazy either, my husband is my whole life. My family is what I live for. Thanks for letting your feelings show for I thought I was a dieing breed.

I love being married as well. I have been married for 3 years and its just so nice knowing that you are with your best friend and that even when you do have fights you can work things out because you are able to commuincate with each other.
I agree that some reports on being married are bad, but we all have problems that we have to work through and we all deal with things differently.

You must be only reading the negative ones then.
There are many good marriages. The fact is, they don't waste their time being on here, their out KEEPING the marriage strong by working, playing, and enjoying each other.

Yes, I've been married ten years and couldn't be happier. The first year was the toughest but after that it has been getting better each year. My wife seems prettier to me every day. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones!

I love being married to my husband as well. Marrying him is the best thing that I have done. He is such a wonderful man. I couldn't imagine my life without him.
