I would think anywhere a disaster has occurred (like New Orleans or Florida) would be building like crazy. Have heard they overbuilt Arizona and the houses are empty. If you specialize in wiring, plumbing, etc. you will be more hireable.

My best guess would be Arizona or Florida. Arizona is the fastest growing state in the nation due to the upcoming retirements of the baby boomer generation.

Texas seems to pay construction workers *very* well. DFW and Houston are great areas to work. The areas are rapidly expanding .

Louisiana and Southeast Texas . . they are bringing in companies from all over the country to rebuild these areas . . my husband is currently working restoration on multiple churches in these areas and there are workers from all over the United states coming in and working on getting these areas back to normal.
