For Christmas my boss gave me a $50 giftcard to the Olive Garden. I have no idea where this restaurant is located but anyway, I was expecting a small bonus atleast I have been with the company since May. Should I give him anything?

Find the olive garden it is the best, then give him a thank you card. Bonuses are not given out at every company. If they are given where you work there might be rules to it. My husband has worked at the same company for 10 years. He doesn't get a bonus, sometime we are lucky if we get a turkey for the holiday's.

Maybe a thank you card. The boss normally always give out xmas presents. You do not have to return the favor.
remember that they make much more money than you, so they can afford it.
