Yes, but for heavens sake don't mix it with ammonia...deadly.

Yes, it's perfectly safe. To summarize some of the other posts and add a few nuggets of my own:

1. Wear old clothes - ones that you don't care if you get bleach spots on them. No matter how careful you are, it will happen if you do this very often.

2. Do not under any circumstances use with other cleansers, especially ammonia. Bleach and ammonia produce a toxic gas that can make you very ill and if inhaled too much can be deadly.

3. In the bathroom, turn on the exhaust fan AND open a window. If one of these options isn't available, consider using a box fan to circulate air through the bathroom. In the kitchen, crack several windows at a minimum.

4. Keep in mind that the standard dilution rate for hospital usage is about 1 part bleach to 20 parts water - so it doesn't take much bleach.

5. Be sure to wipe down all surfaces with plain water afterward - especially areas used to prepare food or personal items (vanity).

6. You may want to consider using one of the scented varieties of Clorox if the smell bothers you.

Good luck!

Clorox is mostly safe. It kills bacteria the best and does leave everything really clean.

Just make sure the area is well ventilated. Also, you may want to consider rinsing the surfaces you cleaned with bleach (especially the ones used for food prep) with water after you use it.

Clorox makes a great spray called Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface. It's good for disinfecting and doesn't require any rinsing. It's even safe to use on baby toys!

Clorox is the best. Dont mix with other products. It is good for mold and soap scum in the tub and stains around the toilet. My husband is the cleaner in my family and he uses it on the countertops in the kitchen just to freshen it up after he has cleaned the sink and dishes. When you walk into our house it is so fresh after he has cleaned. Use it in lundry to remove stains from whites and also they have a clorox that is safe for colored clothes now try it it is great!

It is safe but more efficient to buy a spray cleaner made by Clorox entitled "Clorox With Bleach." It can be found in the laundry aisle in most supermarkets.

Yes, it is absolutely safe to use clorox to clean...IF you take the proper precautions. Make sure there are no animals or children running around. Make sure you've diluted the clorox in water, and make sure you wear shoes on your feet. (I knew someone once who cleaned their back porch with bleach while they were barefoot...they ended up with blisters all over their feet!) That's about all I can think of. Just be careful and use common sense and you should be fine.

Sure it is, make sure you use very little bleach. As some materials can be damaged by the chemicals. It works great in the toilet, I add a cup to the reserve tank and flush after it's sat for an hour or so! Also, bleach works well cleaning the baseboards, once again, don't use too much!
Good luck and happy cleaning!

Yes it is safe, just be careful with your clothes, my wife it is very organized and she likes our home to be clean like a silver tea pot, also clean it every day with some regular cleaning product and every 2 days with Clorox, if you want you can use Lysol to kill all the germs.

I use Clorox for cleaning and disinfecting more than I use it for laundry. I have done this for a few years in my kitchen (surfaces and inside the cabinets) as well as the bathrooms (surfaces and inside the cabinets). No problems, and everything looks great.

I have to agree with everyone else, be safe using it; but have you considered using Clorox wipes? I go to the Dollar store and get a large container for less than $2.00. They work very well.

Chlorox and other laundry bleaches are probably among the more dangerous items in your home. But you can use it safely if you are careful with it and you:

1) NEVER MIX IT WITH ANY OTHER CLEANERS. It can react with some chemicals to make a very poisonous gas.
2) use it in a well-ventilated area.
3) Dilute it in water, 1 part chlorox and 9 parts water.
4) don't splash it on you - if you do, wash it with lots of running water. Seriously, don't get it in your eyes!
5) don't get it on your clothes or it will bleach them

Oh, and BE CAREFUL!
