Every situation is different. There are times that no matter how bad you want to throw in the towel, you know that it is not an option because there are people depending on you to come through. I think when I am doing something for myself, I may be more apt to give up than when I have people depending on me and I don't want to let anyone down. I believe that giving up is easy, its letting people (including yourself) down that is the hard part.

It depends on the situation. The first time I went skiing, my so-called friends put me on the intermediate slope instead of the bunny slope. I fell a lot. I kept getting up. They were inpressed. I knew they were watching & wouldn't let them beat me. (I was sore the next day, but it was worth it)

Depends on how i fell at each moment. i give up easily if the the idea doesn't mean anything to me. if not i can go on until the opponent gets tired
