My best friend of 15 + years is arguably the coolest guy on earth, in shape, funny, great guy. But his teeth are very small and look awkward in his mouth. I think it is affecting his dating life, as he has only really had one or two serious girlfriends and his self-confidence is very up and down. I want to influence him to get his teeth bonded, where they create a better tooth aestetic without altering the teeth themselves. But it can de expensive. Do you think it's a jerk move to tell him I think that's what he needs? He's only 25, but after 4 years without a girlfriend, I want him to get going! How important are nice teeth?

Teeth are very important, I would say something in the order of you making an appointment to see a dentist and start a conversation like that, and see where that goes from there, maybe he has never had good insurance, or maybe he just never saw it that important, You sound like a good friend and I am sure he'll appreciate your discussion.

I have alway been big on peoples teeth, so I would say teeth are important, I am funny about my own (right now they are not at their peak so I tend not to smile unless in the comfort of my own home, I tend to put my childrens needs infront of my own, which is why I have neglected getting them the more help they need from a pro). When I was in third grade I was so distraught about my teeth because they were discolored from medication, so my father had veneers put on the bonding that holds them on has turned black 'looks like my teeth are rotted', but they aren't and without the veneers my teeth are just slightly bigger than nubs of bone where they took my tooth down to... well, I grew up and I don't have the great dental plan my father had for me and veneers cost over $800 a tooth for the veneer itself ot including labor. I know I don't need any of my friends telling me how bad my teeth are... but if someone is going to help that would be great. You probably don't need to tell him because he probably already knows his teeth are horrible. There are various ways to alter the teeth that could be less expensive. I think you should just help him if you can afford to, perhaps surprize him, you can tell him you already paid for it part of it or whatever, so he should just go get it done, rather than telling him this is what he needs to do. I know if my friend already went and paid for part of it I would feel inclined to go to the dentist, not because it's a freebie but because I don't want the money to go to waste. Explain the ups of meeting someone and that it saddens you to see him alone when he is such a great guy. Sometimes you can find dentists willing to work with you with discounts and payment plans, but they can't tell you a thing (such as price quotes or what they can do for him) if they don't see his teeth. Hope this helps and Good Luck

Teeth are usually the first thing a person notices, be they either good or bad. Teeth play a great role in "first opinions". Yes, you should gently tell your friend about dental procedures that would build his confidence. Although, I think porcelain veneers are much better than bonding (and much more expensive) You sound like a great friend. Good luck.

Nice teeth are very important to me, but I see ALOT of people with nasty teeth and somehow they have someone to love them. I think its really grose when someone has rotten teeth but if your not taking about rotten teeth then he's fine. Everyone is different and we all cant be perfect. I'm sure he knows what his teeth look like and if he wanted to do something about it he probably would've. Why would you want to hurt his feelings and make him feel inadequate because his teeth arent to your standards? But if you must I would go about it gently, look up bonding on the internet and then tell him you came across a pop up or something and you think he would look really cool if he could do that to himself. I need invisalign to get my teeth perfect mine are more like Patricia Arquettes with the eye teeth that stick out and I have a space between my front teeth and they may not be as big as some peoples teeth but theyre mine and Im ok with them and so is my boyfriend and I dont care who dont like them because I guarantee theres something about them that I dont like either. Good Luck with your decision.

Stay silent. He's most likely aware of his teeth and either wants someone to accept him as he is or will do something when he's financially able to. Perhaps mention something casual about your own teeth; like you want to try laser whitening but don't know if it's worth the cost. This might open him up about how he feels about his own teeth. If not, just let it be.

Yes please do so. The first impression that comes to ones mind is his face. You recognize people with their faces which are their true identity. Further you being his friend and one of the most important principles of friendship is to bring to the notice of your friend his shortcomings and what looks bad on him. You are a great friend and this will bond your friendship further. But do find an opportune time like he is alone and take him into confidence.

Have a nice day.

If he has reliable very own hygiene then the odor is probable from his homestead. The odours we adore around stick to our clothing. I also have a pal who's extremely clean, yet grew to become into staying with a pal who had canines. Her clothing smelt poor after a pair of days. She did no longer do away with the odor till she moved out. i assume your pal would desire to attempt and placed some frebreeze style stuff in his dresser and drawer liners in together with his clothing. Or if all else fails go away his kit at your place!

My friend has the same problem, and I don't know hot to tell him. Maybe an anonymous note? I still can't figure it out, but teeth are very important to women. I know I have turned guys down before over teeth. It's awful, I know, but imagine kissing someone with nasty teeth!

I think you should help him out by just sitting down and tell him he has horrible teeth but in a kind way. Then he might consider going to the dentist or authodontist.

Hope I could help!!!
