Do any other wireless adapters work with X-Box 360?

Can you use a USB wireless adapter for PC or anything else to hook 360 to X-box live? Or does it have to be the $100 X box 360 model?

I have a wireless card that connects through the USB on my desktop. Can I plug this into the X-box 360 for online gaming?

As far as I know, you can only use the one that is made for the 360. I have it and it works great! I would stick with something that was specifically made so if something does go wrong, you can get full support for it.
