There are loads of free proxy server iP available at http://www.proxy4free.com/ . You may check them and try one for yourself.
However, i feel if you are in the school, your computer must be inside a network and the internet connection is shared using a common gateway. You have to configure the proxy servers properly so that you can bypass the common gateway..
