Read about Cortibalm. I've had chronically dry peeling lips and this stuff is a miracle. After i recieved and used my samples, i bought them off ebay. it is a bit pricier than Chapstick but then again, this is no ordinary lipbalm. I found it after googling 'chronically peeling lips' because i was tired of using Chapstick and other brands that only gave me a headache from the smell and the feeling like i'm eating the stuff and them doing nothing to heal my lips.

This stuff lasts on your lips quite a while after you put it on but it never feels "greasy" although you can feel it on your lips. I had to throw away the Carmex after one use because it tasted and smelled so terrible and it seeped into my mouth making me cringe. The Cortibalm by Dr. Dan is virtually odorless, tasteless, so much better than Chapstick or anything else out there. I honestly cannot say enough about it.

It's also highly recommended for acne medication users such as Accutane who develop dry, peeling lips from the medication.

Send for a free sample and experience it for yourself. It's hard to believe i'm praising something as trivial as lip balm but when you've tried everything you know to heal your lips, you're so grateful to not have to peel off the flakes on your lips and them looking awful and painful.

As great as it is though, it is not a 'use it once and no more dry peeling lips, ever'. Just like a lotion you might use for your face or body, you have to use it regularly to maintain healthy lips, maybe more or less depending on the season or depending on the severity from medications or chemotherapy which can also cause dry lips.

You will be so glad to have found this. I've been raving about it to my whole family and even suggested to my sister to sell the lip balm on her overseas website store.

Try it !

i don't know. but in general i find that if my lips are dry it is because i have been drinking too much coffee or other drinks and not enough ordinary water (no additives, just as it comes out the tap or the bottle your preference) drink a half pint of water for every hour you are awake every day and you should find that your dry lip problem should go away.
remeber coffee and alcohol are diaretics (they make you wee more than you should) so you need plenty of water in addition to the other drinks.
you can tell if you are properly hydrated easily by simply looking at your urine. if your wee/ urine looks as clear as tap water then you are properly hydrated, any shade of yellow and the darker the yellow the worse you are dehydrated. and if your wee has any blood or red in it consult a doctor as that is not normal. although some foods can also colour your wee as well as some medications can alter the colour.

i hope this helps. oh and remeber the more you can save by notbuying lip balm the more you can spend on treating yourself or someone you love.

I find that either coco butter works for me. Or MAC cosmetics do these tinted lip glass which are great because they come in a wide variety of colours that can create a high gloss, glass-like finish or a subtle sheen. They are designed to be worn on there own or over Lip Pencil or Lipstick, Tinted Lipglass is the perfect product for creating shine that lasts. It contains Jojoba Oil to help soften and condition the lips. So you can take care of your lips and still keep them looking good

Burts Bee's Chapstick. It is the best chapstick there is. Make sure you get the soohting cooling refreshing kind and not the honey kind. It has pepermint in it and leaves your lips feeling cool and tingley. It also makes a huge diffrence with chapped lips.

Go to www.burtsbees.com to order it online

I have really bad chapped lips year round. And I'm very picky about the type that I use. I prefer Blistex medicated. It seems to have the most effect, it's not sticky so no hair in the mouth, and stays on for hours. I apply this stuff constantly. And even better it's in a stick and not one of those germ infested cups that you stick you dirty finger in.

Carmex! It's a miracle worker, plus it's cheap. It looks a little manly but it should repair your lips very quickly (within a few hours). It's not the nicest smelling, but it will definitely heal your lips fast.
