you can get a cd repair kit from hmv!!
it basically removes the top (scratched) layer off the cd, leaving you with a mint cd,,
it costs about £8 - £10,, which is not bad really when you consider that it will repair more than 1 cd / disk,, i bought 1 about 9 months ago and due to my inability to put cd's and games back in their cases, it has been a god send,,
im not sure where it is in store, just ask one of the staff and they will get it for you!!
,,
if your normally carefull and this is a one time occurance then i agree with the above for toys are us,,
just wanted to throw a different option for you into the ring,,
happy new year and hope your disk gets sorted

Luckily enough none of my games has deep scratches to affect it, but this one works on music cds.. TOOTHPASTE!!
smear the toothpaste over the scratch or area of scratches, leave it to harden overnight and lightly polish off the surplus paste with a dry cloth leaving the scrathes filled in!!
As i say i havent tried this on games but it does work on music cds.!!
