Here's a gift idea that costs nothing at all. I used it one Valentine's Day when I was too busy with work to buy a gift.

Make a bunch of little "coupons" and put them in an envelope. They should look nice and on each of them, put a little message that says, "This coupon entitles the bearer to ______."

In the blanks, fill in something that your wife likes you to do, like clean the house, or buy her a present, or take her out to dinner, or come home from work early, etc. Use your imagination.

Also in the envelope, to make it more exciting, I added a "Rules" sheet. This said that when my wife presented me with a coupon, I had to do whatever the coupon said right away and without complaining. If I griped or made an excuse, then I'd have to give her back a coupon that she already used.

To tell you the truth, I didn't think she'd go for it, but she did. It was several years ago and to this day she still tells her friends what an incredibly thoughtful and creative gift it was.

A note / letter expressing your thoughts of your feelings for her. Present this along with her personal favorite flowers in a specially chosen (artsy) vase.

To me the note would be the most treasured. Not all gifts to express love need be bought in a store. Gifts come and go, yet think back over the years, even to childhood, I'd venture to say that some of your most precious heart hugging memories are words of sincere heart expression are the ' gifts ' that have stayed with you the most through the years.

With that there can be no wrong size or where to use / place it in your home . . . A gift of words of the heart are preciously ' stored ' and held within the heart.

Suggestion of that gift . . . and the ' gift ' of not to stop being sweet and tender with each other simply because the ' special celebration day ' is over.

How about a gift certificate to a spa? Or better yet, why don't you give her the royal treatment tonight. Give her a long massage, pedicure, etc. Then maybe either cook her favorite meal or order it and have a candlelight dinner with soft music playing in the background. And for dessert, make passionate love all night long. Don't forget the strawberries and whipped cream. Happy Anniversary!

Expense isn't what is important if she really loves you! You are on line.. get out of here, go find a real poem that truly describes how you feel about her. Print it off on some nice paper and give it to her (be honest and tell her where you got it). Then try to write your own......if you're goofy be goofy etc. Just use things that you both have experienced together. Now. start saving for next years gift and make up for "almost" not doing anything spectacular this year! If you love her, what you write will melt her in your arms; if you're sincere.

Well how about some nice flowers or some chocolate that will be slightly more expensive. That should do the trick. Or you could make her a nice card just for her from you. That might also work. A good bowl of Ice cream is another good route to take. Or you could write a poem about how much you love her.

Have a good day. =) And happy Aniversery.

A card with your thoughts written in it, flowers, and cook her a candle light dinner. Romance her. Any dork can buy a gift, but a real man shows love by his actions. It only takes a minute to buy a gift and obviously you are asking other people what to get her, so you have put no thought into it at all. Do something from your heart that shows your love. Put your OWN thought into it. If it is from your heart, she will love it no matter what it is.

It depends on how many years you've been married also, but a nice night out on the town is good with dinner and a movie. Flowers or jewelry is good. Having her know you love her is most important and the fact that you are concerned about what to get her is a good sign. Think about what her interests are and get a gift she would really like and enjoy. Good Luck!!

Make her a special dinner yourself. Light candles on the table and get a bottle of wine. Afterwards draw her a bubble bath and light candles around the tub. Also you can give her your own body massage.

Think carefully--what does she like? What does she collect? Does she like candy? Flowers? Take her out to eat at her favorite restaurant and send flowers to her during the day, or have them delivered to the restaurant.
