I heard that they mix like 75% or maybe a bit more with the rest being helium, and thats what causes the ball to be lighter.

No its not true..helium in a ball would cause it to act like a balloon.

The reason modern balls are light is because of the synthetic materials they are made with. Before the 1950s, all footballs were made of real leather and got very heavy when they got wet.

But all footballs have only ever been inflated with plain, ordinary air.

Only one way to find out. Get an old footy n put a bit of helium in it (mixed with required oxygen) n if it is as lite as the current ball, there is ur answer.

no longer something ,it incredibly is purely too heavy... considering the fact which you already know how they placed helium into baloons, yet in addition they use those different issues to hold them down ..yeah i'd say a soccer is far heavier than those little paper weight issues. -wish i'd desire to help- April,
