Wandering aimlessly around, admiring the city-scape - Covent Garden and the back streets of Kensington.

For sitting on a seat on a summer evening - next to the Thames looking at Tower Bridge.

Lying in a park in summer getting some sun - St James' Park, near the bandstand, or under the trees in Kensington Gardens.

Hyde Park in the summer having a smoke under the oak trees

Brixton Academy right at the front when someone good is playing

The 606 jazz club

The Electric cinema on Portobello rd sat in a leather lazy boy armchair drinking pints and watching the sunday double matinee

Crossing Waterloo bridge at any time of day, views are fantastic

People watching on Old Compton Street in Soho- the freaks come out!

Drinking on the roof terrace at the Frog and Forget-Me-Not overlooking Clapham Common

The Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park

Having Sunday lunch in Regents Park- proper yorkshire pudding and gravy

This list could go on forever- London is THE best city in the world!

3) The view from Ally Pally (Alexandra Palace)

the walk along the southbank from what was county hall to london bridge.
greenwich, potabello and camden markets.
tower bridge lit up at night.
st christophers passage (off oxford st)
covent garden to wander and eat
canary wharf to shop and eat
being on the river

of course - especially out of season when the crowds are less!

Little venice without a doubt. the canal running through is beautifull some great pubs and restaurants, and if you stand on the bridge by the 'bridge house' pub and look west over the canal on a summers eve you can see the sun setting right in the middle of the canal with orange skies.. its is so beautiful
