Aloe Vera come in a juice, it is safe for your mouth and you can drink it, there is also Aloe Vera 100% gel, that you could put on with a Q tip, it aids healing.It is good to let Oatmeal cool before eating.

It is never wise to ingest peroxide or put it in the mouth since there is a potential to swallow it. You can chew ice chips or cubes for temporary relief as well as drink cold beverages or water. In time, it'll heal.

try bonjela. It has a local anesthetic which helps the pain. Also I would just let it heal naturally !

Try to gargle with warm salt water...if there is any skin hanging it's going to drive you nuts...but it will go away..best not to rip it off...K?
