I want to make sure nobody uses the internet on my computer except me. How do I do that?

I need the internet to be the only thing that has a password not the whole computer

Presumably your computer itself can be passworded to sign in. You could use that feature to keep others from using it.

Well you can do this two ways. You can create a system administrator log in so only you can log in to your computer or anybody that has the password. Or if you just want to do it for the internet - it is different depending upon your provider. If you have dial up you need to put in your log in and password anyway so that shouldnt' be an issue. If you have DSL or Cable modem you may need to purchase a software that will lock access. Just do a search on the internet there are several. Internet Explorer , Tools, Internet Options , Content ,content advisor / enable.
