I have a horrible time finding jeans that fit me. All I ever want is ones that don't have a skinny ankle area, so flare or bootcut or whatever, not too high cut, not baggy, but not skin tight, and that are big enough in the thighs, but not too big around the waist, and that don't have a bubble area in the back! If you don't know what I mean by this, the jeans fit ok or else tight in the front at the waist, but in the back, there's extra fabric so it pouches out and if you bend over, people can see right down them! Not good. Oh, and I try to pay less than $25 for jeans, closer to $20 if I can, so that kinda limits my available choices. For color, I tend to like the darker kind that have a bit of brownish in them? I don't really know what it's called. And I DON'T like the kind with the whiskering at the pocket areas, or the worn looking areas anywhere else. I don't like sequins or rips or anything else weird either, just plain jeans.

Have you ever gone into the guy's jeans section in a store like Kohl's? There are TONS AND TONS of jeans! Way more than in the Misses/Womens/Juniors section combined. When's the last time you heard a guy complaining that he couldn't find a pair of jeans that he liked or that fit him? Probably never. Guys jeans come in different length and waist measurements, and my fiance usually doesn't even have to try jeans on (though he usually does anyways, just to be sure) to find a pair that fit. He goes to the store, finds some jeans he likes, in his size, and tries them on, comes out, and buys them. Takes like 10 minutes. For me, I have to try on pair after pair to find just ONE that fits. Womens bodies vary more than guys do, and we just have random numbers like 4 and 10 and 18 that are supposed to be the "sizes".

I think that some company should come up with reasonably priced jeans (under $30 for sure) that have waist, height, thigh, and maybe more measurements. That would be very useful! They'd definitely have me as a loyal customer!

Darker washes are usually more flattering. If you are short you should stay away from flared jeans. Try for a mid rise jean and a straighter leg. The idea is to lengthen the body for a long and lean look. Also try not to obsess over the number and go for the way they fit. There are too many girls out there with jeans that are too tight. Jeans should not bunch or gap. Remember if you find something that almost works you can always have it tailored. It is not that expensive. I am short and i have my pants /jeans shortened for like $8.00To find the perfect jean can be impossible but with the help a a tailor clothes will fit like they were made for you. Oh and one more thing you should pair your jean/pants with a pointed shoe you continue the look of long and lean even if you are not. Good luck!!

I have a hard time because my waist is much smaller than my hips/butt, so I get the problem where the jeans stick out, away from my back near the waist line, but the hips and butt area will fit me. I know there are stores that carry jeans for this shape, there's a Brazillian store near me, but their styles are absolutley hideous. So in the meantime I just wear the jeans and pants that fit my hips with a long enough shirt to cover the large waist band. I like bootcut with a low waist, but all the styles they have out now either are faded or have holes all over them. So I'm not loyal to any brand because I haven't found one that fits me perfect.

NO! I have a HORRIBLE time finding a good-fitting pair of jeans. I ABHORE jeans shopping, it's the biggest pain in the world!!! LOL anyway... seriously. Um, I really do hate jeans shopping, but that's besides the point. PacSun has some pretty good pairs of jeans. I prefer low-cut, because they're more comfortable to me (the high cut ones cut into my stomach when I sit down, and I don't have a flabby belly or anything). I used to like Jordache, but I think they work better on kids, because as I got older (and got hips!) they stopped working as well for me. I like them somewhat tight, but not binding my legs like sausages. They look good with some flare in the bottom, bootleg is good. I don't like jeans with all kinds of doo-dads and bells and whistles and the like, they tend to be inconvenient to wash. And they have to fit PERFECTLY for me to be satisfied. And I hate trying on clothes! So yeah... jeans shopping is a nightmare for me. But I have to soon anyway, I only have 2 decent looking pairs of jeans, and they're boy-cut, and I dont really like them anymore. My other jeans are ripped beyond recognition just from aging.

It's so hard. I'm short and skinny, and I love AE jeans, but size zero short is too loose and long on me, so I have to go get them tailored. I like low cut jeans, I don't really care about color, because I basically have chicken legs. I like straight legged or bootcut jeans. I only wear flared jeans if they're ripped, because tight jeans and rips don't really go together, in my opinion. I like Aeropostale jeans, because they have a size that fits me pretty well.

It all depends... Brazilian jeans fit the best just because us Latin chicks have curves. =) I also need long lengths (go figure!). It takes a lot of hunting to find the right pair of jeans, and when I find a brand that fits...I'm definitely loyal.

It's almost impossible. I have growth hormone deficiency and ended up with a 27 inch inseam. Women's pants in a 14 never come in that short of a length, so I have to get everything tailored or wear heels (with petite.)
