I was involved in an accident and I'm trying to find out if its possible to get the traffic cam's pic. Is there any way to get them? I would really appreciate your help.

You may be able to get your lawyer to subpeona it from the municipal (city) government... in fact I'm pretty sure you can.

I would figure the police department of the town where the camera is located would be your best bet, since they are there for traffirc, crime etc. If you explain your situation, they might be willing to do it for a fee, but that would be where you would want to go to ask.

Depends on what State it happened in. In California, you would contact the California Highway Patrol, or possibly Cal-Trans.

usually no. That is a video to controll traffic and uses software to tell when to turn the light. I don't think that stuff is even recorded.

yes go to the police and ask them for a copy of the pic they take and if they cant help you then they can direct you to who can

it might be best to have your attorney handle it but you could call VDOT well wherever you are department of transportation...hope this helps

you need to take it up with the police. they can use their authority to retrieve the tape for you.
