It does seem like bad manners, doesn't it? Still, he defended himself well enough verbally.
And considering that Saddam was a head of state, responsible for 300,000 to 1,000,000 murders of his own citizens, plus a policy of rape and torture, (apart from his military adventures), I can forgive a few emotional outbursts by the witnesses.
It probably distracted him from his impending doom.

Depends on the person and your relationship with him. We had a friend die we grew up with and as everyone had time they go visit him in the Hospital. I not say we taunted him, but, we joked about dying and how he going to be the first to go, he always wanted to be first. Then laughed how schools have "Most Likely to Succeed" and things like that. He joked and said; We should have voted for "Most Likely to Die First"! But, this just how we are, others may think different.

I don't know if it is fair or not but I will say that I feel it is not right. Now before you get all huffy about it let me explain why. The man is responsible for so many horrible things that I could not think of a way to make him pay for them but I will not be drug down to his level and taunt him before he dies. I am not happy he is dead because I believe he should suffer more for all the atrocities he has committed but then again it is not my place to judge or sentence a man.

Was it fair to rule his people with terror?. These are people that lived under his tyrannical rule for decades. I can't blame them for taunting him in his final hour. Who knows how many of those have lost their loved ones the same way thanks to him.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with it. It adds to the deterrance factor and it is also great fun for the kids to be able to throw offal at them.

In the case of saddam.
Just as fair as he was throwing people who were alive into woodchippers.

No, absolutely not. Not even fair for Sadaam.

They're already getting what's coming to them in the afterlife so why would you want bad karma for yourself?
