I'm racking my brains here to think of the title of a film from the 80's. The basic plot is a guy is married to a beautiful blond who is actually a robot. One day the washing machine overflows and the water short circuits her. He goes to find the factory who made her to get a repalcement and teams up with a girl ( possibly Jodie Foster ?). The factory turns out to be in the middle of a desert and there's some kind of ulterior plot going on with the robots it makes.
Anyone any ideas?
