I'm a huge Superman fan, and I loved "Lois & Clark." It was on when I was about 11 or 12, and I watched it every week. I had an enormous crush on Dean Cain. He's very good-looking, and I think he did a nice job as Clark/Superman.
I don't think he's done much since then, though. Maybe a few independents, some TV movies... I think he played Scott Peterson in that TV movie about the Laci Peterson murder a few years ago... That was depressing.
I don't think he was the BEST Superman ever, but he was very good.

Technically, Dean Cain played Clark Kent, since that show had zero special effects budget, and only seemed to use Lex Luthor as its sole bad guy.
But I was impressed by his romantic banter with a young Teri Hatcher, and would have like to see him in a movie version, with a chance to do a lot more flying and fighting.

I'm not a fan. But i do think he's a great "Superman".
I enjoyed the series...
I also think Teri Hatcher was the best Lois Lane so far.
