I was just showing a photo of me and 3 friends and that was their comment. They did not say which actress, but I'm having difficulty with my confidence with my looks lately as I age and I just wondered what other people's take on it is.

I'd say it depends on which actress. But it doesnt matter what they think, it matters whet you think. If you think your pretty than you are pretty.

The most important person in the world is "YOU". Also you dont have to be beautiful on the outside to be a beautiful person. I would prefer for a friend to tell me I acted like a certain actress. That would make my day.

AS panda said " It Depends on the Actress " We all will be old some day and there is nothing we can do about it. I believe that our life styles and the choices we make in life will determine how old we look.
The perception we have about our looks and what others think of us is a cause of concern and that can have negative effects on your life. Once there is nothing you should be guilty about before God some day as well as with others in your personal life.

depends on the actress. if someone told me i looked like Rosanne, I'd take that as in insult.

When I think of someone, the overall picture is more than just looks (but it can come out "Oh, she looks just like so and so") In reality, they may not look so much alike but they share other similarities (sense of humor, taste in clothes, certain trait- kindness) and this connects in my mind. Also, we all notice different features. Ever notice how every baby resembles someone? But who they look like depends entirely on who is looking (my niece reminds me so much of my sis, her mom; my sis thinks the little tyke looks like 1 of the grandmas. I'm looking at my niece's hair, chin and eyes; my sis is noticing her cheeks). I would take it as a compliment, smile and say 'Thanks!' :-)
