Do we need to use cosmetics of same brand?

1)do we need to use cosmetics of same brand all over the body?i mean if we use a cleanser,toner and moisturiser of the same brand will it be more effective?please suggest some good brands which offer all thru out the body products.
2)everyday we find new products gettign lauch and we end up experimenting with them.is this experimenattion harmful for the skin or hair etc.?

1) YES! The number one reason people go to the dermatologist is because they mixed brands of cosmetics on thier faces. The products of certain lines have chemicals that are meant to go together. If you mix it with something else, you're toying with disaster.

2) It's not harmful to experement with new products. If they were harmful, they wouldn't be FDA approved.

I will answer your 2nd question first. I don't know if it's harmful or not to do this "experimentation." Cosmetics/hair products may contain harmful chemicals, You can goo to www.ewg.org where there's info about ingredients in 7,500 brand-name products.

As for the 1st question: I think companies would like you to believe that you "must" use a toner or moisturizer if you use its cleanser. I don't find that to be the case. I like to mix and don't see the harm.

Companies which offer "all thru-out" products: Avon; Neutrogena; Aveeno; Nivea are a few.

Yes better to use cosmetics of the same brand, all over the body and face. And dont keep changing the brands often. Certain brands dont agree with all skins. Our skin also gets used to a brand. Even certain natural oils are very beneficial to some people and to others they cause cold etc.

Not necessarily. One company make very good lipsticks another company make fine mascara. Before you buy anything go to the store try the starters available over the desk. Then take a decision or you can always take the help of the sales girl sitting there.
