From September mid to March first week India is good in terms of Climate - Rain etc.

But in south india (Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Kerala) the monsoon is in between Oct to Dec and hence the period to visit these places is only between Jan to March.

Most of the Indian Cities are hot enough to threaten westerna people. North India often expreinces 45 + C temp in summer.

We have reserved a hotel room for everyone starting on the evening of Day 1, and the first group activity is a city tour in Delhi on the afternoon of Day 2. Most North American travelers will leave home on the day before Day 1, arriving Delhi late evening on Day 1 or early morning on Day 2. (In 2007, this means departing North America on February 27 and arriving Delhi late on February 28 or a little after midnight on March 1.) If anyone wishes to arrive a day early to be refreshed for our touring, we can reserve an extra hotel night for you

The best time to visit India for tourists from Europe, Australia, and America (which are relatively cool compared to India) is from November to March. This is winter season in India. The best places to visit in India are Kerala, Goa, Rajasthan, Kasmhir(though some part of Kasmir is bit risky due to terrorism, however there are safe places in Kasmir too).

You should plan to go to India during autumn season and you should visit Mumbai, it's a pretty good place with lots of tourist attractions. Have a very Happy New Year 2007 and have a safe trip.
