It's a simple recipe. Two slices of bread and two slices of cheese, and butter on each slice of bread. You can cut off the crust if you want. I make a mean omelet too. Your welcome.

It's more probable that he has read some sort of dating advice book for men. Frequently they advise men to have a food that they can cook really well as many women find it sexy to have a man cook anything at all. A grilled cheese is a bit unusual. If it were an omelet, it would be a reason to have you stay over. If it were a gourmet dinner, it would be an opportunity to seduce you in his own place.

I only brag about how good my cooking is when I want someone to try it. Grilled cheese included. (though I gotta say, for some reason, my mother makes them better than anyone)
