Let them write some motivational speeches... It doesn’t necessarily have to be about black history, unless you want it to be. Speeches were something that every activist did, and it would be a nice experience to see where your classmate's minds are at their age. Then Take a trip to the library and read them out loud with other classes. I did it in middle school I thought it was fun.

black history month is long gone, october? but wat i did in my class was we visited this carribbean street carnival and learned the history by asking then and watching the movie about it.
