You will have to break into a soil pipe somewhere, Are you sure that the one you mention is a soil and not a rainwater pipe?

To the answers below- I didn't mention Saniflow, because the questioner stated 'CONVENTIONAL TOILET'!!!

I assume you do not want to fit a saniflow type unit to reduce the size of the waste pipe??? so the standard proceedure is to "box in" a small corner in the room below ( or box out next to the chmney breast and then into the floor space/ceiling below). A saniflow will allow you to reduce the pipe to 50mm rather than the 100mm for a normal waste. There is nothing wrong with going out through the soffit - as the stack - the air that must escape when you flush (to aviod a vacuum) will go up above the roof - and this will give you some space to work during the build stage - make sure the pipe is well sealed to the roof when all works are complete!!!

Good Luck

You need to use a 'Macerator', its a glorified waste disposal and needs and electricity supply it breaks down the waste which can then be piped away through a relativly small pipe to your soil pipe using a special connector. It sits behind the WC and is easy to connect. In use it is fairly noisy and if you had to do its job you'd be noisy to. Lots of companies make them, the best known being 'Saniflo', however the last one I fitted came from Wickes. To see the spec check out 'Screwfix's' catalogue Page 402-403 catalogue no 83 prices approx £180-500. Connect it securely to the soil pipe, you really don't want this to leak!

If in doubt get a plumber to fit your parts (There may some daft bureaucracy that needs a plumber and or electrician to connect the associated pipes and electrical connections). If not done properly (certified) this could cause you some problems when it comes to selling your property.

Every thing else you need is available from 'Screwfix' too at good prices. P.S. I don't work for them it's just that their service and prices are very good and the catalogues very comprehensive, having said that any good plumbing merchant should be able to help. Good Luck.

You can get narrow bore motorised waste pipe outlets like 'Saniflow'. What I would do is get a plumber in to give you an estimate and make a note of how he proposes to do it!
It's a bit naughty, but I do it all the time.

if you look outside your bathroom you should have a soil-vent pipe which goes directly in your foul drain you could possibly t into that,or a saniflow system will reduce pipework to 25mm and pumps it out.

you need building regs permission to do this work so just refer to the approved building regulation drawing that you submitted to the council

You'll likely to need a macerating pump to get down to a 50mm pipe. Saniflow is one brand.

Also, the sewer pipe will need to be insulated - the building regs will likely insist it goes down through the house and not outside.

thanks for the thumbs down someone - marvelous

you can get a device called saniflow, which breaks down all solid waste, and can run through 15mm piping.
