Why do some people get so annoyed by the different ways of typing?

I mean som ppl wil get realy anoyed wit dis sentens cas its in txt & they would much prefer this sentence as everything is properly spelt.
Why do you get so annoyed.
Some people like to write in text because it seems faster.

I agree with glitterkitty. Another reason why others get annoyed is because they do not say the words you (and others) use, like 'dis' and 'cas'. They say the words 'this', and 'cause.
Writing reflects the way people speak. You will also see a connection between the people who use 'text' words, and the amount of words misspelled, grammatical errors, and lack of content in their answers.

Probably because when you type like that, people assume that you don't know any better. It doesn't speak well of how bright you are to use words like "dis" when you mean "this". If you spoke properly, people would give more weight to your posts. JMHO
