It is possible to meet a nice person. I finally did, after years of being hurt by ****holes.

To answer your original question of "why is it the nicest people get hurt". The answer basically is because its only the nice ones that truly have feelings. Not nice people dont care.

No its not possible. I thought I found my nice person in my girlfriend but all turned out to be wrong. Its not possible because somebody has done that person so wrong that they close up and they don't want anybody to see that nice person. I was that nice person but my past girlfriends that cheated on me and my current girlfriend who trys to run over me has caused damage so far gone that mr. nice guy I was is slowly deteriating and will be no more the more I'm mistreated. There's nothing anybody can do if somebody has been hurt and has had claws in them for a while or periodicly then No its not possible to meet another nice person because the next person will just hurt you like the last.

Sometimes, the nicest people in the world are also the most foolish. Adults should be wise enough to avoid certain situations. Women, in particular, should take the time to know a guy before jumping into bed with him. Both men and women should practice safe sex and use proper protection against unwanted pregnancies. There are other such issues that grown people must address. Otherwise, these "nice" people will constantly find themselves behind the 8 ball. It's not enough to be nice. A person has to become wise enough to deal with life's challenges.

The nicest people get hurt because they are like me. They have big hearts. Yes it is possible to meet other nice people but it is very hard to find them. At the same time you have to be careful with the nice ones because they can change and turn into an ***!! I was with the nicest guy, but he had joined the army and started becoming cocky with everything.

I don't know why the nicest people get hurt. Maybe it's because people know that they can be used, and taken advantage of. Maybe its because they're vulnerable. I think that's why the nice people in this world seem so scarce, because we tend to hide ourselves behind this invisible wall to keep those people out. When we should our true being, we are taking a risk. There are definitely nice people out there. A nice person is always nice, even if they don't show it. When a nice person becomes mean, they don't see it as mean they see it as protection. I've been there before and now I regret ever having to hide myself. You'll find someone nice, just keep your eyes open. Sometimes they're right in front of you and you're too blind to see it.

I don't think people try to be mean. I think deep down we always try to do the right thing-the right thing according to us. In reality, what is the right thing? How do we know it's the right thing? Sometimes being mean is the right thing to do. There's so much to consider when asking yourself about nice/good people in the world. It's all about perspective. Some people don't try to be cold, they just look cold because of their body language, and the way they present themselves. You really have to get to know a person before deciding whether they are nice or not.

I hope this helps a little. I know this has helped me.

Very good question, I've often wondered this.

Sadly I don't know the answer (!) but you're right.. it seems the most genuine, innocent, harmless people/creatures get abused and trampled over while the a holes and the cruel ones get the most privileges and the highest status.

Just the way of the world I guess. Sad.

Another thing I just thought of actually, that doesn't help! When it comes to dating, all this cr*p women give us about wanting a 'nice sensitive man' is really total BS.

They will take a c*cky jerk over a genuinely nice guy any day!! You aren't making it easier for us, ladies!

yes there are nice good people out there, but nice people do sometimes get mixed up with bad people. as the nice person is truly wanting to help this other person, thinks they can change that person's life for the best. but in reality the other person is just using the nice person, and the relationship sometimes ends, rather badly, causing the nice person to become somewhat jaded and not willing to trust the next person.

We get hurt because some people choose to manipulate a nice person. Hard nuts ted to steer clear of other hard nuts because they can't compete....in other words they are bullies. Stay nice and wait for a nice person t come...........after 27 years of a crap marriage(well a good 13 of the 27), I found someone really special.....he makes me feel like a person again.....
I wish you Luck xxxx
