I have used the pressure point remedy and it often works, but the headache usually comes back.

I like to inhale pure essential Lavender oil. Works for almost all headaches. Also put a dab of Lavender oil directly on the most painful spots, like the temples, brow or base of neck. For some stubborn headaches, helps to add Peppermint oil to the mix. This will relieve 9 out of 10 headaches in less than one minute - and no pill to swallow, no side effects.

The second answer by frigidx is correct. A man showed me this many years ago and it will work if you know how. I just press down with my other thumb in that Ball area from the thumb and massage it and then as frigidx says use the thumb and index finger to work the skin area just out from the thumb toward the index finger.
OR, take about 3; 400 Mg tabs of Ibuprofen and drink a big glass of water and it work in 15-30 minutes easy. Be sure to eat a little food or some crackers. Ibuprofen will eat up your stomach lining.

Depends on the type of headache. I get terrible tension headaches. The best thing I"ve found for them is Excedrin Tension Headache. That's the only thing I've found to help mine. Good luck! If you cant find anything over the counter I'd go see a doc if they are consistant.

If your can't wait for your Tylenol or Asprin to kick in, there is a pressure point in the fleshy part between your pointer finger and thumb. There is a sensative nerve in there, and in your pinch, hold and release for a few seconds at a time, you'll feel your headache leaving. Hope this works for you!!
