My mean is this question that iran with 3000 year history is under develpment country .what reasons and factors or events urged us to this situation?

it has to do with the way people in charge are running things. if they look to development as a priority then it can happen really fast but if they think other things are more important (power, control, religion, war, security) then needed infrastructures cannot be built. look at how quickly japan has developed from WW2.

The fact that education is deprived there plays a major factor for the undevelopment of Iran. I'm not saying to become "civilized". I would imagine that if things haven't worked so far on the information that was fed to those people, why not find the facts out for themselves? If those people in power truely cared about their citizens then they would try to better their people. Instead they deprived them and make them dependent upon others. That and the religion confusion that's been going on there since Jesus walked the earth. Thank you.

Whenever religion shares power with government it creates restrictions. Restrictions are barriers against growth.
