The size of what? Not all men are obsessed with anything. Why are so many women obsessed with size? I am. I want bigger breast, but my husband insists that he doesn't want that, because any bigger they would sag. I can't imagine that a man any shorter than 5" could do any good. Sorry, but in this pair, I'm the obsessive one.

Some feel like if they aren't big enough then they can't saticfy their woman, so the woman might leave them. SOme are worried that women are obsessed with size because we are always saying it doesn't matter. Its the truth, Size Doesn't Matter!

In general there are two reasons. The first is simply the male dominance thing where we/they want to be better/stronger than the next guy. I think many guys also believe penis size is a big factor in a woman's enjoyment of sex and therefore feel a smaller size won't satisfy her.

I think it's mostly because they watch porn and confuse that with reality. Porn actors are chosen because they are monsterously large. (In fact I've read that some of them actually can't get real erections because they are so freakin' huge.) Guys look at that sick stuff and think there's something wrong with them because theirs doesn't dangle down to their knees. In fact it's the porn guys who are not normal, and the poor normal guys start obsessing because they are "only" normal. If these men would get a life instead of looking at that junk on their screens, they'd be able to think about something more constructive.

Men aren't obsessed with size - we are very much aware that we've got what we've got and we just live with it. The problem is when women constantly bang on about size not being important in sympathetic tones that make men worry that it does...

the bigger the better, alpha male stuff, for himself, would be afraid of a 4' 10" 80 lb weakling or a 6'7" 200lb monster, for the other, the size fits his status,

Theres nothing wrong with being attracted to one body type and unattracted to another. We all have our preferences. Women,too. Some men like the hour glass shape while others like heavier women,some women like meaty men,some muscular,some skinny. In varies widely like this in my circle alone. What WOULD be a problem and obsession would be if he married a thin woman and she gained weight due to health issues or something and cheated on her bc she gained weight. I know my husband prefers me to be thin and I try to keep myself appealing for him and he does the same for me.
