There may be a fireall, either on your PC or on the router which prevents you from viewing specific webpages. Consider disabling both before looking for other reasons.

Try loooking under the settings of you anti virus program, and logging into your router, usually by opening up a web browser and typing in your routers address, usually 192.168.0.1, for example! If not, let us know, or try other suggestions!

I had a message like this recently except mine said, operating system not found. I freaked. Then I rebooted and Viola! it went away. Try rebooting and see if the message goes away. Otherwise, if you have your original OS disks, you can reinstall your OS. Some computers also have partitions set up in advance that will reinstall your OS from the partition. HP should be able to advise you. Have you checked info available at the URL given in the message?

if you were able to access web pages from your friends house without using a router then you need to check your router but if the revise is the case you may probably contact your Internet service provider to verify if your LAN can connect to WAN in your area.It might probably be a network issue
