This is easy, id want to see the 96-97 Chicago Bulls play the 84-85 Los Angeles Lakers or any Red Auerbach Celtics championship team.

I want to prove that Jordan, not anyone else, is the greatest player of all time, that you do not need a big man to win the title, and that Phil Jackson, not Pat Riley or Red Auerbach, is the greatest coach of all time.

The Bulls didn't go anywhere in the playoffs until they added Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant, plus Bill Cartwright (in the Charles Oakley trade). MJ didn't do it by himself. Stop progating the myth. The Bulls won their first title in 1991 when Phil Jackson switched defenders on Magic Johnson, taking MJ off Magic, and putting Pippen on him instead. When he came back, the Bulls didn't win another championship until they replaced Horace Grant with Dennis Rodman. Those are the facts. Red won 8 in a row with a deeper team than the Bulls were. The Celtics had allstars like Frank Ramsey coming off the bench. Why the 1985 Lakers?
The 1987 Lakers were a better edition, with Big Game James,
Kareem, Magic, A.C. Green, Michael Cooper, Kurt Rambis and
Byron Scott. The Bulls won their 72 games during a season where they were playing two expansion franchises. The 1972 Lakers were also loaded. The 1996-97 Bulls weren't as dominant
in the playoffs as the 1990-91 Bulls were, which was their best
playoff team ever, losing only two games. The latter edition Bulls
weren't nearly as good in the playoffs winning championships. The two games they lost in the 1996 NBA Finals were the two
games Ron Harper didn't play. To answer your question, I would
like to see the 1987 Lakers play the 1983 76ers, or Sixers as they are known.

Jordan was nothing until his team got someone who didn't care about points but pure hustle in Horace Grant and Rodman. 85-86 Celtics will have no problem with the 96-97 Bulls, i would like to see that
