Would you say you are scared of those cute little girls in their headscarves? What would you want muslims to do to make you happy with them? This is actually a debate for my school, and i thought i'd ask my fave people b4 i faced my scary class....

You are asking two questions in one. People fear them because the news has portrayed Muslims as Terrorists, when that is completely false.
Muslims are nice people, that like you and me only want to live in peace. Of course, they do have fundamentalists groups, that take their religion to the levels of Fanatism. But Christians also do have fundamentalists, and they can be as dangerous as Muslim fundamentalists. Fundamentalists believe in imposing to others their religion.
Hating people because of their religion or culture is prejudism. it has nothing to do with terror acts committed by fundamentalists of any religion. Of course, if you are a victim of terror, like me, it is normal to feel rage, anger, and hate for those who acted so wrongly aganist you. But that doesn't mean that you have to hate all Muslim for what a group of senseless terrorists did. Otherwise we would have to hate also Christian fundamentalists who commit terror acts and cause people to be injuried or die.
There is absolutely no reason to fear Muslims. They are very nice people. Ask your school to invite a Muslim school teacher to talk to your class. And if your class fears them so much, (or your parents) invite one that works for the US Government. You can always ask the FBI or the US Treasury Dept. and other Federal Agencies to help you contact one of their members that is a practicing Muslim.

Muslims are not only Terrorist, terrorists are a name given to a person who causes destruction, therefore GW Bush is also a Terrorist since he has caused Destruction ALL OVER THE WORLD killing small babies, women, old people, Poor children who do not have a clue want is happening to their lives.

people in Britain and USA are not the only people who have lost their loved ones but every day thousands of mothers, babies, children are getting killed by the armed forces of Britain and USA. WHY just because they are Muslims.

if it is a war ageist terrorism then GW Bush should kill him self first, believe me the world will be a safer and nicer place to live without that terrorist who has no real freinds.

Scared??? What people fear is death by a wacko with a bomb strapped around them or fear of a wack job driving a plane into a building with men, women, and children on board. As we have all seen it was the wacko followers of Islam doing these things not Jews, Christians, or even Atheists but Muslims.........We fear our lives being taking by some senseless act........ Bottom line Muslims need to put more energy into being outspoken and publicly visible speaking LOUDLY against terrorist who committ crimes in the name of Islam.
Oh the news won't cover it? Yea the media might ignore one or two individuals but if and when you have the balls and willingness to come together to march against terrorism...
The media will have NO CHOICE but to cover the story.
Hey what the heck is that... its a million Muslims and they are pretty damn mad! Whoa and they are saying what? "Down with terrorism! Bin Laden is a sinner? Join us our brothers Jews and Christians! whaaaaat?

I'm not scared of anything, I'm an Atheist citizen of a secular Republic with a Muslim cultural background, and never ever had any sort of problem with Muslims. Peace.

Muslims are scary because they hide themselves and because they have a 10th century mentality. I dislike anyone who discriminates against others, especially those who gave birth to them!
Muslims should all join the REAL world!
