School reopened today and all my new classmates looked so alien to me...I missed all my classmates in the past..T.T Help..

Do you mean you started at a new school? Change can be very unsettlling for anyone no matter what age. That's perfectly normal, and don't be hard on yourself. It just takes a little time. Your old classmates were once new classmates, too. Maybe you have a touch of the blues with the holidays being over, too. Think about some things you'd like to explore in the new year and make a list of things you like about yourself. That'll help you see why lots of other people can like you, too. You don't have to work through it all in one day, you know? Give it a little time.

I know it's hard to get over your past. Just try to meet new people and try to look at it on the positive side. Don't point out all the negative things or that is how you'll always see it.

Give it time. Pick one person that you could see as a potential friend and strike up a conversation. Little by little you can make lots of new friends.
