To be more precise, would you work if after all of your expenses and needs are met, like transportation, lunch, childcare, etc., you end up taking home only $2.00-$3.00. Please explain why or why not after you've thought about it for a moment. Thank you!
(By the way, for this scenario, let's say you're working about 10 hours per week doing something very rewarding and benefitial to your community. I must stop there, I don't want to give you all any biases. ;-D)

If all needs were met & I loved (or even liked) what I was doing, sure, why not. Especially, though, if it also helped the community. I strongly believe in doing things that "give back" to the community - I volunteer ALOT of time & skills...
Good for you...By the way, what is it you're doing!?

Considering that all of my expenses and needs are already met, AND I'm at work 24-7, 365, no holidays, breaks, no sick days, I have to cook, clean, take care of animals, run errands, act as my husband's secretary.....
YES, I'd take $3.00 an hour for that. I don't get paid ANYTHING per hour. I'm a Mom.

If all of my expenses are met I would not mind working for such little amount of money if I were benefiting my community. I have no need for added luxury, although it is nice, If I had time and money already I would help people out.

According to Rich Dad, Poor Dad (Robert Kiyosaki), you should never work for money.
If you would work for free for 40 hours per week once your most basic needs are covered, that may be the right job for you.

um. If it's just a few hours a week and it's kinda like community service I might do it. Not for the money though.

depends on how badly I needed the money. Volunteers work for nothing. Depends on your lifestyle

No. I have a degree that says I'm entitled to make way more than that. Why settle?
