It's 3 am. Absolutely no one is on the road. You are stopped at a long red light at an intersection. You know there is no one around at all. Do you wait for the green, or just go?

Wait. What's the big whoopie deal - so its a couple minutes of your life you'll never get back - it's the law, and without law we have anarchy......first it's run the light at 3 a.m., the 4 a.m., then in rush hour.......it would just cause madness!

Wait for your green light. In some cities they have cameras. If you get caught running a red light the fine is high and it is not worth it. Be patient.

That happened to me, sort of.
I was waiting at the light to make a left it was 3:15am. There was no traffic around. The arrows turned green for straight and I accidently made my left. I got pulled over and they gave me the roadside screen test. I passed and did not get ticketed for the improper left turn.

Make a right hand turn, then turn around. I was in that situation once. There was no one out except the cop car with its lights out trolling for drunks. Only 1 of 2 tickets I have ever had in 35 years of driving.

I wait. Most definitely. You never know where the cops may be and seems more and more there are cameras all around.

I'd wait but then again, I try very hard to obey all laws, even those I consider wrong and work to change them.

Wait. I always believed that a man is judged by what he does when he thinks nobody is watching him.
