MC-
My first recommendation is Juniper (Juniperus). There are quite a few forms, most grow pretty fast. Here's the kick though, narrow = poor screen. I'd look at them anyhow... try 'Wichita Blue' or 'Spartan'.
The thought I had, until I read the narrow wish, was for Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis), they grow quickly, and are quite shearable.
I'd be hard pressed to choose arborvitae (Thuja)... they are so over used. Avoid 'Emerald Green' at all costs! Maybe consider 'Techny' or 'Nigra', but neither of those are especially narrow selections.
I hope that this helps
Good luck

Upright Arborvite. They grow fast and are hardy in Ohio. Ask the nursery how close they can be planted for privacy.
They can also be controlled by pruning so the overhead lines do not become a problem. If you 'prune' the top, expect them to grow a little wider. You can also control that with pruning.
Good Luck

Check in to Thuja, "Green Giant." Don't let the name fool you, they can be maintained as a beautiful hedge. I bought mine from Wayside Gardens. Look on the net and request a catalog, then research as I did about this incredible variety. Enjoy!

Cedar is just what you need. Check with your local growers for information on the types of cedars they have. There is one type that is very fast growing and grows to the height you want but I can't remember the name but it is a type of cedar. They smell nice too.

Canadian Hemlock is very nice, but requires wet/moist soil. I'm not sure how tall it gets though but it does grow fast. Remains neat and attractive whether it's trimmed or not.

Arborvitie. It can be bought in various heights, and doesn't grow very fast.
