Rodents become sexually mature between 4 and 6 weeks of age. If they are in the same cage this is a problem. Hamsters are not social animals like rats or mice. They are solitary creatures that need their own cage if they are the same sex. The aggression can escalate until one of them kills the other. If they are not the same sex and you accidentally got a mixed pair, then the one that is aggressive and not eating can be preparing to give birth. If the male stays in the cage with her, she will eat the babies to protect them from the male. Don't ask me why they do this, it's a complete oxymoron! My best suggestion is to separate them imediately or you could have a problem sooner rather than later. I hope this helps.

Well, I posted the above before I knew they weren't aggressive towards each other. The above still applies as far as same sex hamsters, though. Have you had her since before she was sexually mature? How long have you had her? If she's aggressive towards you, she may be in pain. Did the vet say anything about her general health? Is your vet an experienced pocket pet vet?

I've heard that it's not a good idea to keep two girls together as they tend to be aggressive.

Ditto. She needs to snatch her canines, her telephone, and her vet's quantity and get her butt to a vet. Seizures are to not be taken gently, neither is bloating or lethargy on their very own. integrate them, and you have have been given an emergency.
