hi i wanted to setup a domain based network on windows 2003 server wich will be a primary domain controller and wanted to setup DNS,DHCP,SAMBA,APACHE and MAIL server on linux server..isthat possible to setup and work with efficiency?where as my clients will be on windows XP...
please guide me as soon as possible!

There are no longer PDCs in active directory although there is a PDC Emulator role holder.

I'd suggest you run DNS on the Windows box -- it's MUCH easier to configure than running BIND on Linux.

What benefit are you looking for with a separate Linux box? The Windows box can do it all for you including DHCP, a website and e-mail.

You'd be better served setting up a second Windows box and making it a DC also so that you'd have redundancy of your security accounts. A single DC forest is just asking for trouble.
