My high school team is in season now, and i was wondering what I should do for wieght training.

At this point, you want to maintain your strength. You can't really train hard, as you don't want to be tired while you are playing. However, you don't want to stop altogether, as you want to maintain the strength you currently have.

My recommendation is that you start training with lighter weights and more reps...this will keep your muscles active and should fit in with the eating you are doing during season. Be sure that you don't overdo it...and be sure that you STRETCH before and after each workout.

You will also want to train your on-ice skills. Concentrate on quick bursts of speed as opposed to just endurance, and work on having the best form you can.
