i cannot say there is the best song in the world. my oppinion, but still. there are so many great songs out there, by different artists, that are different styles of music. so its really hard for me to have a best song in the world.

It's a cheesy metal song, but...
"As far as the eye can see" by TNT....
It reminds me of my long distance love that I have for a very special woman in my life...the line that describes it perfectly is:
"As far as the eye can see, is much too far for you to be.
And if you're laying here, that's all I need to know"
I know, cheesy, but true. LOL
But, if you're talking just the best song in the world, I'd go with Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns by Mother Love Bone

Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven.
It pulls on your heart like no other song. It was written after his 4 year old son died by falling from a 53rd story window. I can't even begin to imagine the pain of losing your child, especially like that. And in this song, you get a glimpse into a parents pain and their thought of - will Heaven help to ease this pain? He wonders - Will you know my name? If I saw you in Heaven?
