If the SIM card is Cingular then yes. For other carriers you would need an 'unlocked' phone.
BTW, Cingular is staffed by crooks. I would never deal with them again!

Only if it is a Cingular Phone. I had a problem when I switched carriers and had to start all over with a new SIM Card.

Yea mostly likey to work if it doesnt then maybe you messed up your SIM card like so much but usally it work most of the time.......
And if it doesnt then just go to the cingular store and
work things out with them

yes, i actually just did that the other day. as long as they are both cingular SIM cards and phones, it will work. i transfered my SIM card from my sony ericsson flip phone, to a razr, and it worked just fine. just as long as the phone and the SIM card is from cingular, you should be fine.

it'll work only if your service is cingular and both phones are cingular or world phones

The phone you transfer it to must be one that your mobile phone company supports. If they do, you're good to go.
