Apparently Aztec278 had exclusive access to Saddam's Outlook calendar because he just revealed that Saddam and Osama were "scheduling a meeting" prior to the U.S. invasion of Iraq.
That's amazing news, I think he should take the evidence he has and present it to the news media because the world needs to know this. It's news to me. Anyone else believe this?

Saddam didn't have any link to Bin Laden whatsoever, contrary to what G W Bush led the Americans to believe there is.
Consider the facts:
Days after Saddam invaded Kuwait, Bin Laden proposed to the Saudi King to permit him and his Mujahedeen warriors to be sent to Kuwait to fight and kick the Iraqi's out of Kuwait. The Saudi King ignored the offer. Thereafter the Saudi King requested military assistance from the U.S. to station American troops in Saudi Arabia to defend Saudi territory against an Iraqi attack. The arrival of American troops in Saudi Arabia infuriated Bin Laden, who considered it a sacrilege to Islam for infidels to set foot on the Muslim's holy land. This is the reason for Bin Laden's hatred and hostility towards America. From the fact stated above, it is clear that Bin Laden was against Saddam and his armies.
After the 9/11 attacks, when American troops were bombing Afghanistan where Bin Laden is holed up, Saddam never offered safe haven or sanctuary in Iraq for Bin Laden and his beleguared fighters. Nor did Saddam provided them with arms or assistance of any kind. This clearly showed that Saddam haven't symphatized with Bin Laden and his cause.
So where is the connection between Saddam and Bin Laden?. And where is Saddam's role in the 9/11 attacks, which was Bush's justification to invade Iraq?.

And so we frantically continue to try and link the two to further justify the invasion of Iraq. Kids it has been 5 years now, the time to justify invading a country is not now, it is long before the bloodshed begins.
It isn't amazing news, it is another rumor. Just like all the other AMAZING coincidences that didn't happen.
