apparently it was his double who was hanged, that when they captured him his wife and mistress said it wasnt him , he had perfect teeth and not the guy they hanged...

There are bound to be conspiracy theorists proclaiming this or that about Saddam. In all likelihood, Saddam had a double or possibly two such doubles. Saddam was held by the Americans until the day of his execution when he was handed over to the Iraqis. I'm certain that the Americans had the right Saddam and did not have his double.

Saddam always used doubles,,,WHEN HE WAS IN POWER! Why would his sworn enemies produce and then hang a double, keeping Saddam alive??? Its utter rubbish to be honest, im of iraqi origin, an ethnic assyrian and christian, i can pretty much vouch that Arab Shias and Kurds hate Saddam as much as we Assyrians do, and were only too pleased to see him hang!

yes before and after he was captured there were rumour about his double, but if that was Saddam's double why would he agree to die and be so calm about it, there were always be talks like this its a bit like denial stage of shock i guess
