A cingular sony ericsson pay as you go phone?

i have got a cingular sony ericsson pay as u go phone, i got it at walmart, i was wondering if anyone knows if i get on the internet on my phone if it was free or does it cost me and also about dowloading songs on it, does that cost also? please be serious about this cause i would really like to know. Thanks for you help!
