No operating system is completely bug free. I have been beta testing Vista as my only operating system since beta 2 through RC2.
I can say without a doubt I will be using Vista when the final release takes place at the end of January.
It is WAY more secure than XP and has great eye candy. By then almost all major applications will be compatible with Vista.
It has a great bug reporting mechanism and frequent updates. Even though I am using RC2, it is quicker to search my files to find anything on my computer.
The secret is to NOT have XP and Vista on the same computer!
Make yourself work with Vista only and like anything new, you will learn all kinds of tricks and shortcuts.
Don't get weak and go back to XP. That's too easy, you already know it. Learn Vista, stick with it and have a much more secure surfing life.

Ask yourself this, Has Micro$oft ever put out anything that is bug free?

XP wasn't even worth owning for the first 2 years it was so bug loaded.

I hate microsoft as much as the next person, but anything new that comes out will have bugs, no matter what it is, there is something always to fix, humans are not perfect :)
