Home depot and Lowes' both have sotfware that help you design the deck you want and they print it out and it gives you an estimated cost and what it will look like. If I remeber correctly, it lists everything you need for the project. Just ask at the customer service desk! Good luck!

They will set you up with someone to do it for a price but how much and will it be done right I don't know. Talk to friends they may know someone who will do it for you and does a good job. It's not a real big job 23 inches by 12 inches LOL. I know the wrong sign that's 23 feet by 12 feet I'm sure. Still not real big and something well within most DYI builders. Ask around the neighborhood and good luck.

Im sure some Home Depot employees are knowledgable about building decks. I only know one and hes in law school and manages a home depot. Look online on websites like bob villa, hgtv, or diy.com. I'm sure you'll find something.

Now KitKat....sheath the claws....LOL But she does have a point, you have the internet with multitudes of building designs, directions, and resources and you ask a retail clerk of dubious knowledge for key information that can cost you a lot of money?
This staggers the imagination that you would not do your own research on something so expensive.
