It is important that a teacher to be allowed to speak of, answer to and show their pride in the culture they believe in as long as they are sensitive to other cultures and aware they are part of a specific culture when in the class room.

I say this as it relates to N. America (United States specifically) . Although U.S. culture has been twisted over the years it does have it's own culture that, survives and should not be ignored with in it's boundaries especially in the school.

The culture carrier would be serving the student well and most importantly, be giving a glimpse of the reason for and why culture exist. We call it education don't we?

Completely unimportant. The teacher is there to teach a consistent education to all students. The curricula should be standardized, and if I am a teacher and I get sick, another teacher specializing in the same course work should be able to take over exactly where I was without any interruption of the learning cycle.

Teachers should *NOT* ever allow personal biases or their culture to influence what they teach, how they teach it or who they teach it to.
