Rhea, the Titan goddess of the earth and fertility, was usually portrayed in art and literature seated on a throne, with a turret crown (representing the walls of a city) and pair of lions crouched at her feet which also drove her chariot.

She wielded a royal staff, the sign of her office as the queen mother of the gods and was described by the ancient sources as wearing a robe of black leaves. The hawk, silver fir tree, as well as the lion were associated with Rhea.

She was associated with Dionysus, the god of wine, and Pan, the goat-legged god of shepard's and flocks. The Kouretes, who were armored warriors who performed a shield clashing dance, also served as attendants to Rhea.

Rhea. "The name as well as the nature of this ancient divinity is one of the most difficult points in ancient mythology." It is assumed, however, that like Demeter, Rhea is goddess of the earth. Kronos was said to have devoured all his children by Rhea except Zeus whom she concealed giving Kronos a stone wrapped up as an infant whom the god swallowed. Crete was probably the earliest seat of the worship of Rhea. She was identified with Cybele in Phrygia, was worshipped by the Thracians, under different names she was the great goddess of the Eastern world and was known as the Great Mother, the mother of all the gods. Her priests were the Corybantes who dressed in full armour, with cymbals, horns and drums performed their orgiastic dances on the mountains or in the depths of the forests of Phrygia. Many of the attributes of Rhea were given to her daughter Demeter. The lion was the symbolic animal of the earth-goddess because of all the animals known it was the strongest and most important. In works of art she was rarely depicted standing. She is usually represented seated on a throne, wearing a mural crown from which hangs down a veil. Lions crouch on either side of her throne or sometimes she is shown in a chariot drawn by lions. In Greece the oak tree was sacred to Rhea.

For 'most important' it would be hard to name one. I mean, you can say that Athena was the most important since she was most active in humans affairs, right? But then what about Demeter, who made all the plants grow for food? Or Hera, who watched over families and marriages? Hestia, with hearth and home? Artemis, the goddess of hunting? It's really hard to decide on JUST one goddess. Not to mention the gods. As for prettiest, that would have to go to Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love. By the way, prettiest is spelled with an 'i',not a 'y' .
